YAD Monday Meet-Ups

Over the course of our first year as an organization, one frequent comment has been, "I wish there was something for our young adults (18+ years of age) that would offer them some opportunities for socialization." After kids finish with school, the opportunities for socialization are almost non-existent for many of our older friends. In order to address this expressed need, we have begun our Young Adult Monday Meet-Ups in the evening every other Monday. Ideally, this group's activities will be driven by the group by having them reccommend activities for us to pursue. So far, we have planned miniature golf, an evening in the park, and game night. The next couple will be a movie night at Chabad with fresh popped, Kosher popcorn and an evening playing games at Scene 75. Check the newsletters for details! There may, at times, be costs associated with these activities, but they will be clearly dileineated when that occurs, and we will do our best to keep them minimal. (As always, if the cost is prohibitive, financial assistance is available. Just reach out to Jeanne to make arrangements.) Most meet-ups should be free of charge to all participants.
